Revelation Revealed [ The Fifth Trumpet ]
I have recently come to an awareness while writing these posts. Some fellow, not worthy to mention his name, said that authors of posts on the internet will do anything to get another “hit.” While that may be true for him, it isn’t at all true for me. I do greatly appreciate those who visit this site and sacrifice their time to read words that they may or may not agree with, however, I feel that the majority of my guests know Jesus as Lord of their lives. I am mindful of you while writing and it is for that reason that I deleted the first two posts on this ‘fifth trumpet.’ It is a very difficult transition from those ‘natural’ catastrophes of the previous trumpets to this ’spiritual’ invasion of the present trumpet. We must understand that the spiritual realm consist of both good and evil and the happening resulting from this fifth trumpet will bring evil unheard of to the present time.
As Christians, we know that the elect of God is comprised of the people that make up the church. We know also that people need leadership to stay on tract in any given field and for the true church, that field can be nothing other than Christianity. Once Christ is removed from the equation there is no church. Let’s look real quickly at First Timothy, chapter five, verse seventeen. “LET THE ELDERS THAT RULE WELL BE COUNTED WORTHY OF DOUBLE HONOUR, ESPECIALLY THEY WHO LABOUR IN THE WORD AND DOCTRINE.” There can be no doubt that the elder is placed in a position of oversight of the church.
This brings us to the Second Epistle of John, chapter one, verse one and two. “THE ELDER UNTO THE ELECT LADY AND HER CHILDREN, WHOM I LOVE IN THE TRUTH; AND NOT I ONLY, BUT ALSO ALL THEY THAT HAVE KNOWN THE TRUTH; FOR THE TRUTH’S SAKE, WHICH DWELLETH IN US, AND SHALL BE WITH US FOR EVER.” We see three things at work in these two verses. We see the “elect lady,” which is the church. We see the “children” of the elect lady which are “born again” Christians. Next we see the “Truth” which dwelleth in us and shall be with us for ever which is Jesus. Now some will argue that John is writing to some woman of the era that he had known; that’s just plain hogwash!
Let’s get down to where we are living, and to the decision that we must make as Christians. It has been said by some in powerful positions that we are “NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION.” Now let me tell you what John, the writer of the Book of Revelation, gave us instruction to do concerning those who would remove Christ from our identity. Second John, verses number nine through eleven. “WHOSOEVER TRANSGRESSETH, AND ABIDETH NOT IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HATH NOT GOD. HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE HATH THE FATHER AND THE SON. IF THERE COME ANY UNTO YOU, AND BRING NOT THIS DOCTRINE, RECEIVE HIM NOT INTO YOUR HOUSE, NOR BID HIM GOD SPEED: FOR HE THAT BIDDETH HIM GOD SPEED IS PARTAKER OF HIS EVIL DEEDS.” Now we know from Holy Scripture that those who would remove Christ from our national identity are beneath us as Christians and we should have nothing to do with them. But, now know this; those that support such and assist them and bid them God speed are partakers with them in their evil deeds! What is the church following today? Who is going to teach the pathetic, vulgar, wretched losers of this generation that they are pathetic, vulgar, wretched losers? They go to the spa’s and work out to make their bodies lean. They lay in tanning beds to make their skintone more attractive. They paint their faces and cover their bodies with tattoos to draw attention to themselves. They kill their own young, marry their own gender, and consume chemicals by the gross to drive their sexual ability beyond the natural max.
As we enter into the most dangerous time known to mankind, we need to cling as never before to the “fear nots” of Jesus Christ. Christians need to know scripture, and when they do know scripture, they have the ability to read deeper than the printed page. Allow me to show you some scripture that you know very well and when you grasp the truth of it, you will be ready for this fifth trumpet. This story has to do with another lady in scripture.
Mark, chapter five, verse twenty five through twenty eight. “AND A CERTAIN WOMAN, WHICH HAD AN ISSUE OF BLOOD TWELVE YEARS, AND HAD SUFFERED MANY THINGS OF MANY PHYSICIANS, AND HAD SPENT ALL THAT SHE HAD, AND WAS NOTHING BETTERED, BUT RATHER GREW WORSE, WHEN SHE HAD HEARD OF JESUS, CAME IN THE PRESS BEHIND, AND TOUCHED HIS GARMENT. FOR SHE SAID, IF I MAY TOUCH BUT HIS CLOTHES, I SHALL BE WHOLE. “ Most people think that this woman with the issue of blood is the story. What they fail to see is that this woman has been incorporated into a story that is already in progress. You will find that the story is in reality about a man by the name of Jairus that begins with verse number twenty two and proceeds onward into verse forty two long after the woman with the issue of blood has vanished from the scene.
Okay, let’s do some deep reading by putting verse number twenty five and verse forty two side by side. Verse twenty five; “AND A CERTAIN WOMAN, WHICH HAD AN ISSUE OF BLOOD TWELVE YEARS,” Now verse forty two, “AND STRAIGHTWAY THE DAMSEL AROSE, AND WALKED; FOR SHE WAS OF THE AGE OF TWELVE YEARS. AND THEY WERE ASTONISHED WITH A GREAT ASTONISHMENT.” Okay, here we have not just a woman, but a “CERTAIN” woman who was stricken with a desease that under the law, will absolutely forbid her from coming into contact with the high priest. At this very same time, we witness the birth of a child that has total contact with the ruler of the synagogue. With great ease, I look back and see an eighteen year old boy by the name of Jesus of Nazareth who unbeknownst to the world, sets in motion the wheels of Grace that will run over the chocks of the law twelve years distant.
Notice in these verses of scripture the ease with which Jesus sets up Jairus in the most important dicision between law and grace that he will ever make. On the one hand, he will have the life of his little daughter while on the other rests his career choice in life. Verses twenty two through twenty four. “AND, BEHOLD, THERE COMETH ONE OF THE RULERS OF THE SYNAGOGUE, JAIRUS BY NAME; SAYING, MY LITTLE DAUGHTER LIETH AT THE POINT OF DEATH: I PRAY THEE, COME AND LAY THY HANDS ON HER, THAT SHE MAY BE HEALED; AND SHE SHALL LIVE. AND JESUS WENT WITH HIM; AND MUCH PEOPLE FOLLOWED HIM, AND THRONGED HIM.” Okay, now remember that this is the point where we come to the woman with the issue of blood.
The woman with the issue of blood has touched the garment of Jesus and immediately she felt the healing begin. Verses twenty nine through thirty four. “AND STRAIGHTWAY THE FOUNTAIN OF HER BLOOD WAS DRIED UP; AND SHE FELT IN HER BODY THAT SHE WAS HEALED OF THAT PLAGUE. AND JESUS, IMMEDIATELY KNOWING IN HIMSELF THAT VIRTUE HAD GONE OUT OF HIM, TURNED HIM ABOUT IN THE PRESS, AND SAID, WHO TOUCHED MY CLOTHES? AND HIS DISCIPLES SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SEEST THE MULTITUDE THRONGING THEE, AND SAYEST THOU, WHO TOUCHED ME? AND HE LOOKED ABOUT TO SEE HER THAT HAD DONE THIS THING. BUT THE WOMAN FEARING AND TREMBLING, KNOWING WHAT WAS DONE IN HER, CAME AND FELL DOWN BEFORE HIM, AND TOLD HIM ALL THE TRUTH. AND HE SAID UNTO HER, DAUGHTER, THY FAITH HATH MADE THEE WHOLE, GO IN PEACE, AND BE WHOLE OF THY PLAGUE.” This woman knew that she was under the sentence of death for touching Jesus or for even being in the crowd that day. Jesus didn’t want her to get away unnoticed and began to make an issue about it until there was no doubt that Jairus was aware that a woman with an issue of blood had touched the master. Now, according to the law, Jesus was unclean and forbidden to come in contact with anyone for the rest of the day. Under the law, he could not touch Jairus’es daughter, the touch that alone could bring life back to her dying body.
Even as Jairus had a dicision to make concerning Jesus in that day, we in America have the same dicision to make today. Only by touching Jesus can America be restored to her once lofty pinnacle of security. We know that the doctrine being taught in American churches were the source of the blessing. Now under American law, ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ are forbidden to call the sins by name that are stealing our wealth, wrecking our health, and killing our children. God hates sin and God hates abortion. God hates same sex marriage and God hates homosexuality. So many of the things that God hates, it has been named as a hate crime for ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ to mention them by name; this is Satan still trying to exalt his throne above the throne of the Most High. Will pastors of American churches dare to touch Jesus or will they bow to the sovereignty of Hell?
Let’s look at these remaining verses of scripture where law and grace struggle for preeminence and preachers think it’s about miracle healing. Verse thirty five through forty one. “WHILE HE YET SPAKE, THERE CAME FROM THE RULER OF THE SYNAGOGUE’S HOUSE CERTAIN WHICH SAID, THY DAUGHTER IS DEAD: WHY TROUBLEST THEE THE MASTER ANY FURTHER? AS SOON AS JESUS HEARD THE WORD THAT WAS SPOKEN, HE SAID UNTO THE RULER OF THE SYNAGOGUE, BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE. AND HE SUFFERED NO MAN TO FOLLOW HIM, SAVE PETER, AND JAMES, AND JOHN, THE BROTHER OF JAMES. AND HE COMETH TO THE HOUSE OF THE RULER OF THE SYNAGOGUE, AND SEETH THE TUMULT, AND THEM THAT WEPT AND WAILED GREATLY. AND WHEN HE WAS COME IN, HE SAITH UNTO THEM, WHY MAKE YE THIS ADO, AND WEEP? THE DAMSEL IS NOT DEAD, BUT SLEEPTH. AND THEY LAUGHED HIM TO SCORN. BUT WHEN HE HAD PUT THEM ALL OUT, HE TAKETH THE FATHER AND THE MOTHER OF THE DAMSEL, AND THEM THAT WERE WITH HIM, AND ENTERETH IN WHERE THE DAMSEL WAS LYING. AND HE TOOK THE DAMSEL BY THE HAND, AND SAID UNTO HER, TALITHACUMI, WHICH IS BEING INTERPRETED, DAMSEL, I SAY UNTO THEE, ARISE.” If Jairus had followed the law, his daughter would never have lived again, but grace prevailed. How shall America respond to this law of death that is upon her?
In the chapter immediately preceding the book of Revelation, Jude tells us in the third and fourth verses, “BELOVED, WHEN I GAVE ALL DILIGENCE TO WRITE UNTO YOU OF THE COMMON SALVATION, IT WAS NEEDFUL FOR ME TO WRITE UNTO YOU, AND EXHORT YOU THAT YOU SHOULD EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH WHICH WAS ONCE DELIVERED UNTO THE SAINTS. FOR THERE ARE CERTAIN MEN CREPT IN UNAWARES, WHO WERE BEFORE OF OLD ORDAINED TO THIS CONDEMNATION, UNGODLY MEN, TURNING THE GRACE OF OUR GOD INTO LASCIVIOUSNESS, AND DENYING THE ONLY LORD GOD, AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
That word ‘ordained’ still means to be set aside, even if it should be the harbingers of hell. Let there be no doubt that Jesus shall be in the midst, even when Hell assails us the most. Even when the bottomless pit is opened and all hell is on the loose, even then, Jesus shall be there for the weary saint, willing to be touched.
